So far this book (nominally about diving into supernatural dungeons on the modern day earth and cheating the systems to make stupidly large amounts of cash) has been about what restaurants Kei and Miyoshi can take their hot Hindu friend to when she comes to visit. 10/10 so far.

They have done some dungeon diving in this volume I promise, but they also brewed pourover coffee and some very fancy expensive tea. 10/10
This is probably the only Japanese light novel that has a footnote explaining what Reddit is as it’s important for a plot point

Finished it: REAL GOOD
One of the best parts of finishing one of these books is getting to the colour illustrations at the end - ughhh the art is so good (it’s by @ltt_ttl).
Anyways, super great volume! This one was mostly about that fallout after the descovery of the party system, which lets dungeon adventurers share experience points and communicate telepathically. (Turns out that’s a real bad thing to discover just as nationwide standardised academic tests are about the take place). Again, for a book that’s nominally about dungeon diving, we spent about 50 of the 400 page runtime doing dungeon stuff and like 100 pages visiting expensive restaurants. This is the correct kind of balance, I think.
